CANCELED DUE TO WEAHTER. RESCHEDULED for AUGUST 20, 6pm at the James Island County Dog Park.Rockwellarts.com has partnered with Pet Helpers to help get the word out about our most needful dog. Please come out with your four-legged furry friend to the dog park to help. It’s a fun way to spend the afternoon with your PUP. Pet Helpers and Rockwellart.com are asking all who come to bring a dog/cat toy, leash, food, or gift certificate to be donated to Pet Helpers.
Aug 23 – Comso's Fundraiser Pet Helpers’ Party @ Necter Bar and Grill on James Island from 6 pm – Midnight. Come out for drinks, free food, and live music. $10 at the door. All proceeds goes towards Cosmo and other Special Needs Pet Helpers' Animals.
Aug 30 – Dog Washes at Paws in FreshField Farms, from 12 noon – 3 pm. This is a pet friendly event. Come out and give your dog a bath for a good cause. You might even want to call one of Pet Helpers furry friends your own.
Sept 13 – Meet and Greet/Dog Contests at Worthy Creature (aka Kreature Comforts)
Worthy Creatures (formally known as Kreature Comforts) has partnered with Pet Helpers for a fun day of pets, prizes and contest.
Where: Worthy Creatures in Mt. Pleasant
When: Sept 13 from noon - 3 pm, games will be from 1 pm - 2pm.
Contest Categories: Shortest Tail, Longest Tail, Best Owner Pet Look Alike, Loudest Bark, Wackiest Wiggle, Fastest Tail Wag, Silliest Pet Trick, Coolest Pet Trick.

World of Rugs Sale
Spice up your home with a new rug and help out some homeless pets. Buy a beautiful, handmade rug and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Pet Helpers Rescue and Adoption Shelter.
Where: Hungryneck Antiques Mall, 401 Hwy. 17N, Mount Pleasant.
