Sponsor a Pet

Pet Helpers keeps all of our pets until they are adopted. Some of our pets have been here longer than the others. Maybe its because they are shy or because they are older than the others. We know that one day we will find the right home for them, but in the mean time we try to find sponsor parents for them. This is a great option for someone who may not be allowed to have a pet in their apartment, but wants a pet in their life. Sponsorships also make great gifts for young animal lovers.

In return for your donation of $360 per year (less than a dollar per day) you will be able to “adopt” one of our long term resident pets.  As a Pet Helpers Sponsor Parent, you will receive pictures and updates twice a year as to how your pet is doing, and you would always be welcome to visit your new best friend at the shelter!

I'm an adorable yellow lab mix and I am 2 1/2 years old. I am a sweet girl who is looking for an owner that will be as adoring and loving as I am! I have been at Pet Helpers for about a year now, you can usually find me here on top of my dog house.

I would love to lay at your feet, walk around the block or go on long car rides with you. Won't you stop by and visit me?

We are both females ages 3 and 5. We were turned in by our owner and we have had to stick together. We are still pretty upset and don't like anyone to get to close to us. Hopefully with time we will get used to it and maybe even find a new home.

I'm an 8 year old male. I've been here since my owner brought me here in 2004. I'm pretty shy and people think I'm not friendly but really it just takes time for me to get to know someone.

I'm a 1 1/2 year old beautiful orange tabby girl. I'm very shy around humans and don't like to be handled very much. I'd make a great “barn” cat, but I haven't met a human with a barn yet.

Ricky

Hi. I'm Ricky. I am scared of people. I like to hide up in the rafters. I'm pretty old and I've been here a long time. I am a boy and a girl cat. I had to have both a spay and a neuter!

There was once a girl that worked here that fostered me and I would let her pet me but she's the only person I ever got the chance to get close to.

I'm a female torti. I'm 3 years old and I've been here since 2004. I was brought here by a hoarder with 8 other cats. I'm not very friendly. Its not that I'm a bad cat, I just don't trust people.

I'm Chelsea.

I'm a 2 year old medium hair female. I was found as a stray. As you can see by the look on my face, I am pretty scared of people. I'm not mean but I run and hide whenever someone gets near me.

I am a 5 year old fluffy female with medium long hair. I am really scared of people. I don't let anyone get near me. It doesn't mean I'm a bad cat....I just have issues I'm working on.

I'm a 2 1/2 year old female. I was found as a stray and have been here since 2003. I have to admit, I really don't like people. Maybe if the right person came into my life and was willing to be patient with me they could change my mind....
