Molly

We LOVE her soo much!! We had to put our 11.5 year old Lab mix down.  We went 3 weeks and had to get another dog.  Molly is so sweet.  She sleeps with Mommy has two sisters who play with her all the time!!  Molly has gotten car sick a couple of times, but seems to be getting better with it. She was very nervous about riding in a car, but she has finally relaxed with our travels!  We adopted Molly first and told Sue and Gene that Molly had a sister!!  That's how Mitzie got adopted!!  We bring the two puppies together once a week!!  They know they are sisters it is too cute!!   Here is a picture of the two of them, with my daughter Ally!!   Molly has been a wonderful blessing to our family!

Mitzie (formerly Ruby)

Mitzie is such a wonderful bundle of joy for our family.  Boo, our 8 year old rescue mix lab/bit bull is totally in love with Mitzie. The reason that we decided to adopt at this time was to give Boo and new found love for life and Mitzie has done that for her. They are inseparable. Boo is teaching Mitzie the rules of the house, when it's time to go potty, Boo will bark at Mitzie which alerts us that she needs to go outside. Don't ask me how Boo knows that Mitzie needs to go, but they must have a silent language going on. They love to go on long walks around the neighborhood. Mitzie does such a great job on a leash. She walks tall and proud.   We have ordered a DNA testing kit so that we know what breed is predominate in her for training and grooming purposes. She is a very smart dog, so we do believe that the German Shepherd is most definitely coming out in her.  Thank you Pet Helpers for all of the work that you do.

Skitzo (formerly Ken)

Kitten Ken, renamed Skitzo has brought me many smiles. Here are some photos, enjoy.  Iren Ishi, now Sweetie is also doing quite well, but doesn't appreciate having her photo taken. She's such a diva.

Finn (formerly Lized)

Finn used to be named Lized, and I adopted him from Pet Helpers in March 2011.  Since then, we have had adventures all over the lowcountry and he has become a regular at Lost Dog Cafe.  I have always grown up with dogs and consider myself a huge dog person.  That being said, I can honestly say that Finn is the most loving dog I have ever been around.  He would seriously lay next to me and snuggle all day if he could.  His hobbies/favorite things include:  the beach, his stuffed bear, ice, sleeping under the bed, sun bathing, belly rubs, bugs, and meeting EVERYONE!  He used to be a big fan of chewing shoes, but has (knock on wood) grown out of it.  Thanks Pet Helpers!!!

Kobe (formerly Gustav)

He loves looking out the window hanging over the back of the couch...sitting on the floor beside the other windows in the living room and looking outside! haha and I PROMISE he enjoys dressing up. People think I am crazy until I take off one of his tshirts or halloween costume and he tries putting his head back in it to put it back on!! haha He was def. meant to be my boy!! :)

Hope all are well - congrats on the awesome turnout at the adoptathon you all were a part of! That is heartwarming to hear how many pets found a new home!

Liza (formerly Lil Shep)

Hello all,

Just an update on our little Liza (aka Lil Shep in her days at Pet Helpers).  Just an update on how great she has been since we brought her home in Novemberish.  She started off very skittish as she was at the shelter, but she has come so far since then!  Just wanted to send a picture of her in our backyard, which she loves!  We've also been wondering about little Vicki, her sister that was left at the shelter when we adopted her.  Thanks so much for all the happiness you've brought to our home!
