At Pet Helpers, we truly value our volunteers. From helping at special events to assisting our kennel staff, our volunteers help fulfill our mission of of ending the euthanasia of all adoptable cats and dogs by keeping all animals until adopted; providing low cost spay/neuter surgeries; offering humane education programs; pursuing animal cruelty prosecution; and initiating animal welfare legislation.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to individuals 17 and older, and to students 12 and older, when accompanied by an adult. Due to the volume of applications we receive, and the requirements of the programs we offer, we are unable to place every applicant.
